Field and virtual outcrop analysis of fault and fracture systems

WHAT: In this project you will collect field data and create virtual outcrops to make detailed observations of fault zone geometries and properties to better understand the stress conditions and processes occurring in fault zones during their formation and continued slip.

WHERE: This project involves lab work at the University of Arizona and field work in south-central Utah
