Effects of wildfire on soil properties

WHAT: In this laboratory project you will collect and analyze data from soils near Tucson, Arizona, that have been burned in recent wildfires. You will investigate how wildfire affects key soil properties that control runoff, erosion, and landslide hazards.

WHERE: This project will involve lab work and field work at the University of Arizona.
