Ore minerals to understand the formation of mineral resources

WHAT: In this laboratory project you will work on samples collected from a copper-gold-silver mine recently discovered in Argentina. You will determine which minerals host copper, gold and/or silver and how they are formed.

WHERE: This project will involve lab work at the University of Arizona and a visit to a copper mine in Arizona.
